The National Organization for Women is a dedicated group of women and men who believe that all people are created equal.  The Equal Rights Amendment has yet to be passed and still requires two more states to pass the ERA for it to be an Amendment to the United States Constitution. 

GOOD NEWS:  President Obama has appointed Elena Kagan to be the next justice of the United States Supreme Court. Make sure you let your US Senator know that she is a well qualified nominee and that you want her confirmed.  Confirmation hearings are scheduled for July. 

Good News:  Gov. Crist vetoed HB 1143 which restricted women's access to reproductive health care and drastically chips away at Roe v. Wade.

Thank Gov Crist for using his veto on this intrusive bill.

Meetings are held at the RJ's Wings and Things Restaurant located at 5025 Fowler Ave on the south side of the  Street in Temple Terrace.  Come join us the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:15 PM in the private dining room.  Individuals may order food if they wish.  See the CONTACT US page for more information about our programs.
