The National Organization for Women is a dedicated group of women and men who believe that all people are created equal.  The Equal Rights Amendment has yet to be passed and still requires two more states to pass the ERA for it to be an Amendment to the United States Constitution. 

The ERA states, ' Section 1. Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex.
Section 2. The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
Section 3. This amendment shall take effect two years after the date of ratification.

Meetings are held at the Perkins Restaurant located at I-275 and Bearss Avenue in North Tampa.  Come join us the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM in the private dining room.  Individuals may order food if they wish.
